Seb and I were invited on to speak to the Loose Women panel on Wednesday 10th June.  The whole invitation came about after a thank you note I posted on TK Maxx’s website went viral. The interview felt like a car crash at the time, with Seb deciding to join the panel and Janet Street Porter asking my view on the new non-invasive testing for Down’s – a question I wasn’t expecting and one that it is very emotive and not possible to answer in 2 minutes….

I always say that children are our best tool in changing attitudes, by being seen and heard.  I think Seb proved that in bucket loads that day.

What will remain etched in my mind forever is when we left the studio the production team played a power ballad of some description, Queen or similar, and Seb walked up the central aisle high fiving members of the audience as if he had just won Wimbledon!

What a day!
